DR SEARS FOR ORANGE COAST MAGAZINE.

Everybody's favorite Dr from the hit show The Doctors; Dr Sears, graces the January edition cover of Orange Coast Magazine.  I was the lucky girl who got to do the MakeUp for this shoot.... mind you, this is a guy with absolutely flawless skin, my job was easy peasy.  I look forward to working with Dr Sears in the near future.  What a nice guy, super humble and a pleasure to be around.  My fave Photographer, the fabulous Jason Wallis shot the cover.  

ROSY HODGE FOR OAKLEY.

Check out this edit of über talented, Oakley Pro Surfer Rosy Hodge.  This South African native, is one hot chick!!  AND so sweet and intelligent.  I adored working with her and as always, loved working with the crew at Oakley.

TRU TV - Worlds Dumbest.

I have been such a slacker with my updates!  Oh boy.  Life just gets away sometimes, I often ask myself 'where did that past month go'?  It is nearly the end of 2011 and I cannot believe it.  Seriously!  Not long until I will be sitting on my butt for 13 hours (with a huge smile on my face).  Yup, heading to Australia for the entire month of December.  YIPPEEYIYO!!!  Nothing like a swift dose of numb butt to keep the spirit alive :)  

Anyway, I worked with Daniel Baldwin, Todd Bridges, Wes Dening and Chelsea Peretti the other day for a show on Tru TV entitled 'Worlds Dumbest'.  These peeps were so much fun and I look forward to our future interactions :)  Can I just say that Daniel Baldwin is a bundle of craziness and laughs, such a great guy.  Thanks for a great day everyone!

DR SEARS "THE DOCTORS"

Today I had the wonderful pleasure of working with the lovely Dr Jim Sears from the reality show 'The Doctors'.  We were shooting the cover for Orange Coast Magazine, as Dr Sears is an Orange County native.  The images turned out fantastic, I cannot wait to see the cover which will feature Dr Sears in January.  

Jason Wallis was the man behind the lens today.  I love working with Jason, so refreshing and easy...  Always a pleasure.  I wish we got to work together more often.  Here's hoping for more collaborations in the near future.

FIAT 500 COMMERCIAL.

The Fiat 500 is ridiculously adorable... I can pretty much guarantee that my Mum wants one of these cars!

A month or so ago, I was lucky enough to work on the commercial. Super star Director, Christian Loubek led the talented team. The shoot was fun, but extremely tiring as we shot one full day and two full nights.  We were literally holding our eye balls open with toothpicks by the end of day (night) 3.

I hope you enjoy this spot, it was a blast and I was honored to be a part of the team :)

BUD LIGHT COMMERCIAL.

Take a peek at the Bud Light spot I worked on with Director, Pat Sherman.  This is the second time I have worked with the gorgeous Olga Fonda, hopefully not the last.  She rocks... stunning and such a sweetheart.  The spot was promoting the new Bud Light 'write on' labels, what a great concept!  Enjoy :)

I adore this swimwear line, it is the perfect blend of sophistication and sexy.  Designer Charlotte Pruitt is unbelievably talented, there is a reason why celebs such as Melania Trump and Halle Berry are lining up to wear Charlotte's designs.

Oakley sponsored, South African Pro Surfer, Rosy Hodge is a babe!  Apart from being an extremely talented surfer, über sweet and extremely intelligent, this girl knows how to control a room.  The minute she stepped foot into the Oakley Recording Studios, all eyes were on her... men and women.  Her smile is contagious and her personality is infectious.

I'll never forget an ex boyfriend telling me that South Africa has the most amount of beautiful woman he has even seen, he was not wrong! Wowzers.  Ladies... keep your men well away from this fascinating country.

The past three days I worked on a Fiat Commercial with super star Director, Christian Loubek from Anonymous Content.  I can say I am absolutely exhausted, as the shoot consisted of one day and two nights.  The spots will be really special, I can promise you that!  I took this pic at 4am Monday morning.  I love it!

GOTOMEETING.

Take a look at the spot I worked on for GoToMeeting.  The Director I worked with, Vincent Haycock is talented beyond belief.  I dislike being bias, but to watch this creative genius at work is pretty whiz-bang wonderful :)  This is hands down one of my favorite spots and I am extremely proud to have been a part of the creative process.

LINDSEY VONN.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with a sporting legend, Olympic Gold Medal Skier Lindsey Vonn.  Not only is she a phenomenal athlete, but she is also a lovely person and beautiful beyond belief.  I have the upmost respect for any professional athlete. The pure blood, sweat and tears that go into the making of a world class athlete is beyond anything that you or I could ever comprehend.  I have spent a lot of time over the years surrounded by incredible athletes, the dedication and drive they possess is something that continually blows my mind.

ACURA TL - OFFICIAL VEHICLE OF THOR.

I'm always saying how much I love my job, how exciting it is and how it's full of extreme highs. I never forget for a minute how fortunate I am to do what I do and I love that I get to look back at the videos with an immense amount of pride.  

A few months ago I got to work on a top secret commercial for Acura TL - the official vehicle for the movie Thor.  It was insane!  Cars were being blown up, there were stunt men flying through the air into fire and all sorts of crazy things that blew my mind all day.  The spot turned out killer!  Take a peek and see for yourself...

IN THE MEAN TIME...

As of late, I've had a lovely break from the 'commercial world', my passion for what I do is strong and the love is endless.  I want to work in the commercial world forever, I adore it. Naturally, I find the need at times for a healthy break to keep the fire alive. I've been working on some wonderful projects, that I have thoroughly enjoyed.  I cannot wait to share the details with you all soon. Stay tuned :)  In the mean time, take a look at this glorious spread that was featured in the April edition of Harpers Bazaar China.  Ever since laying eyes on this ethereal pictorial a month ago, I have been obsessed with it... the MakeUp, the Hair and of course the Haute Couture Fashion.  LOVE.

NYC.

I just got back from a work/play trip to NYC.  To say I love that city would a gross understatement!! It's not a place I could live permanently, but I love the excitement and the hustle and bustle.  It's exhilarating and full of dreams and aspirations.  I crave solitude by the end of my trip... a sign of old age maybe?  Who knows, but I do know that I cannot wait to get my butt back to the city of dreams in the not too distant future.
